About Dr. Megan E. Cannon

Dr. Cannon moved around the country growing up in an Air Force family. She is the oldest of 3 children and has 2 brothers. They definitely prepared her for having sons of her own! Dr. Cannon went to a small liberal arts school in Kansas for undergrad, where she majored in mathematics and chemistry. She stayed in the state after graduating and went to the University of Kansas for medical school - Rock Chalk! She then moved to Texas and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Houston Methodist. For the last 6 years, she's lived in Colorado Springs, CO. Dr. Cannon married her husband in 2020 and they welcomed a son in 2023. She also has a stepson who is pursuing his goals now in Florida. In her free time, she enjoys working with her hands through baking and cross-stitching, being outside hiking, gardening, and horseback riding, and just sitting around reading and watching movies. Dr. Cannon is very excited to be back with her Houston Methodist family!
