About Dr. Mahsa Mossadegh
Dr. Mossadegh grew up in the suburbs of Washington DC & upstate New York. She received both her Bachelor of Science degree & her Doctorate of Medicine at The Ohio State University. She completed her General Surgery Residency at Michigan State University/KCMS in 2003 & subsequently began working at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. She has lived & worked in The Woodlands since 2004. She presents breast cancer cases at weekly hospital tumor boards. She is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the Society of Surgical Oncology, a member of The American Society of Breast Surgeons, Association of Women Surgeons, Texas Medical Association & Harris County Medical Society. A Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Mossadegh was awarded Living Magazine 2020 Best General Surgeon in The Woodlands & has been featured in their magazine after receiving the most votes from local patients, readers & community members. She is an active member of the Society of Surgical Oncology & has been chosen to serve as the Cancer Liaison Physician for the Integrated Network Cancer Committee.
