About Dr. Mahmoud Al Rifai
My primary aim is for patients to live a long and healthy life free of cardiovascular disease. I am passionate about studying cardiac imaging biomarkers to correctly identify individuals who are at high risk of developing future cardiovascular disease events.
Dr. Al Rifai received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut. He worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at the John Hopkins Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Heart Disease. He trained in internal medicine at University of Kansas School of Medicine, Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine and Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center. Additionally, he has a Master of Public Health from John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
