I am a board‑certified endocrinologist and internist with fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. I hold academic and teaching roles and provide comprehensive endocrine care with clinical focus on diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and bone disorders in Houston.

Dr. Libu Varughese is a double board-certified endocrinologist, fellowship-trained at Baylor College of Medicine / MD Anderson Cancer Center. A native Houstonian, he completed his medical degree at Mahatma Gandhi University in India and his Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Centre in Phoenix, AZ, where he served as Chief Resident. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Houston College of Medicine, the 2025 President of the Harris County Medical Society Southwest Chapter, and was named a 2020 Texas Super Doctors Rising Star and Top Endocrinologist in Houston by America's Best Doctors. He specializes in diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disease, low testosterone, and pituitary disorders.
