About Dr. Korsh Jafarnia
Dr. Korsh Jafarnia, chief of Houston Methodist Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Houston Methodist West Hospital, specializes in pediatric and adult orthopedics of the hand and upper extremity. He serves as the Assistant Team Physician for the Houston Texans. He also serves as the Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopedic Surgery for both the Houston Methodist Institute for Academic Medicine and the Weill Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Jafarnia completed his orthopaedic residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In addition, Dr. Jafarnia completed Advanced Techniques in Hand Surgery at the French Institute for Hand Surgery in Paris, France. He then went on to complete a hand surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and was name by Texas Monthly Magazine as one of its "Hall of Fame Super Docs."
Dr. Jafarnia performs the latest procedures in hand and upper extremity - including endoscopic carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel releases, tendon, nerve and fracture repair, arthroscopy, and joint resurfacing and replacement.
