About Dr. Kenneth Brooks
Dr. Kenneth Brooks is a highly trained surgeon with 10 years of experience performing advanced orthopedic procedures. He has cared for patients in the Greater Bay Area for the past seven years. Dr. Brooks believes effective communication is the foundation for a successful physician-patient partnership. He empowers his patients with information to make the treatment decision that is right for them and then determines a positive plan of care. He also believes each patient can realize the outcome he or she seeks through a positive and motivated approach to their plan of care. Dr. Brooks engages in each person's care with the same passion and commitment he would give if he were the patient.
While in medical school, Dr. Brooks discovered his true desire to help people of all ages return to the sports and activities they love. He earned a fellowship in sports medicine from Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Mich., and a second fellowship in joint replacement and adult reconstruction from the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston.
Dr. Brooks is board certified and focuses on sports medicine and joint replacement. He is active professionally as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and Texas Orthopaedic Association.

Effective June 30, 2024, Dr. Kenneth Brooks will no longer practice with Houston Methodist Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
A medical records release is not required for patients who choose to continue receiving care from another Houston Methodist Orthopedics and Sports Medicine provider. Patients should contact the office at 713.363.9090 for any questions regarding future treatment needs or to make an appointment with one of Dr. Brooks colleagues in the Orthopedocs and Sports Medicine practice at Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital.
Patients who would like to request a copy or transfer of medical records may contact the Medical Records Department at 713.394.6428. Please keep in mind, it may take up to fifteen (15) business days for records to be released.
