Dr. Karen Louie grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her General Surgery residency at NYU Langone-Brooklyn, followed by a Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship at Christiana Care Hospital. Dr. Louie is board-certified in General Surgery and specializes in managing both malignant and benign breast diseases. Her clinical focus includes the development of personalized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Louie is an active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society for Surgical Oncology, and she serves on the board of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. She is dedicated to advancing breast surgical oncology through research, publications, and participation in national conferences.
