About Dr. Ju H. Kim
Patient education through clear communication is critical to developing a strong patient-physician relationship required for exceptional patient-centered care. I am committed to ensuring that my patients understand their condition and tolerate optimal medical treatment, including advanced therapies such as ventricular devices or heart transplantation when appropriate.
Dr. Ju Kim is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in Advanced Heart Failure and heart transplantation. He completed internal medicine residency training at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, where he served as the chief medical resident. He completed general cardiology fellowship also at Geroge Washington before moving to Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia for Advanced Heart Failure fellowship.
He is currently an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Houston Methodist Institute of Academic Medicine, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, Associate Program Director for Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program, Associate Medical Director of the Cardiac Intensive care unit at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.Â
