Dr. Lin is a distinguished medical professional renowned for her exceptional contributions to the field of infectious diseases. She embarked on her journey in medicine in 1984 when she completed her medical education at a prestigious university in China . Her unwavering passion for medicine and infectious diseases, in particular, fueled her determination to make a significant impact on global health. Throughout her early career, Dr. Lin worked in internal medicine at various hospitals, clinics, and research institutions, gaining valuable experience in patient care and medical research up until 1990. Her dedication and expertise earned her recognition as a proficient physician, and she soon became a respected figure within the medical community. She then pursued her research training in Immunology and Microbiology in UTMB that same year. She returned to clinical training in 1995 by joining residency program at UTMB. Completing her infectious diseases subspecialty training in 2002. Since then she has been providing services in the Infectious Diseases Department around the Houston area, joining the Houston Methodist Specialty Physicians group in 2016.
