About Dr. Jess David Collins

Dr. Jess David Collins is a native Texan who grew up in a small town in Missouri. After attending college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, he went to medical school at Albany Medical College in New York graduating in 2000 with a medical doctorate. He then completed neurology residency at Emory University in Atlanta as well as a fellowship in Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology. Dr. Collins developed a regional epilepsy program in Kansas City before moving to back to the Capitol region of New York State. There he worked for a nonprofit focused on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities before opening his own epilepsy focused practice. During the pandemic, Dr. Collins moved back to Texas to practice epilepsy and general neurology in Round Rock. Now Dr. Collins works for Houston Methodist the Woodlands at the new Creekside Clinic. He has years of experience in general neurology with specialized training in the evaluation and treatment of seizure disorders. In addition, Dr. Collins is well versed in EEG, including long term EEG testing and Vagus Nerve Stimulation therapy (VNS).
Dr. Collins's personal interests include spending quality time with his family and four children, traveling to new places, and enjoying new cultures and cuisines.
