"My practice is dedicated to the care of athletes and active individuals, combining primary care and sports medicine to provide evidence-based diagnosis, injury prevention, and individualized treatment that promotes recovery, performance, and long-term health."
Dr. Irvin Sulapas is a board-certified & fellowship trained primary care sports medicine physician specializing in the care of athletes and active individuals. He earned his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, followed by a family medicine residency and sports medicine fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Prior to joining Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, he served on the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine and UTHealth Houston and has been a team physician for multiple collegiate and professional organizations, including the Houston Dynamo FC, Texas Southern University, University of Houston, and the University of St. Thomas.
