About Dr. Ihsan Al Bayati
When I meet my patients for the first time, I dedicate most of our conversation to build a strong, long term relationship and trust. When patients have so much faith in me, I have to try to do my best to be up to or even exceed their expectations. The gastrointestinal tract is complex and has a major role in our life. Patients' quality of life deteriorates significantly when the GI tract is not working in harmony and is not in its usual, highly orchestrated balance. As a Gastroenterologist, I need to find where is the defective player and put it back in rhythm with the rest of the body."
Dr. Ihsan Al Bayati is a board certified and fellowship trained gastroenterologist. He specializes in general gastrointestinal disorders, small bowel disease, peptic ulcer disease, liver disease, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, colon cancer prevention and diagnosis, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease and cirrhosis. Dr. Al Bayati performs EGD and colonoscopies, small bowel balloon assisted enteroscopy, catheter free pH monitoring and video capsule endoscopy.
Dr. Al Bayati earned his medical degree from Al-Nahrain University, College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship, Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas.
Dr. Al Bayati’s clinical interests include liver disease, colon cancer screening, small bowel disease, obscure GI bleeding and gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
