Dr. Vossoughi is fellowship-trained in hand surgery from Baylor College of Medicine, department of orthopedic surgery. She is also Board-certified in general surgery. She finished her general surgery residency training at the University of Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Vossoughi received training in hand Micro Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital. She uses state of the art methods in treating patients with hand surgery problems. She has vast experience in performing minimally invasive procedures such as Endoscopic carpal tunnel release, Xiaflex injection for Dupuytren's contracture instead of surgery, performing reconstructive procedures for painful arthritic joints of the base of the thumb. Dr. Vossoughi listens carefully to each patient and treats each patient with indicated tailored treatment for that patient. Dr. Vossoughi speaks five languages fluently. She has two sons. She enjoys swimming and biking in her free time.
