A fellowship trained bariatric and minimally invasive surgeon, Dr. Howard specializes in weight loss surgery and reflux surgery, along with other gastrointestinal surgical issues. A native Texan, Dr. Howard grew up in the area, graduating from Klein High School. He completed his bariatric fellowship at the University of Florida and has since helped thousands of individuals lose weight and reach their weight loss goals through his surgical expertise alongside the comprehensive weight loss team.

Additionally, Dr. Howard has helped numerous patients rid themselves of reflux, or GERD. With a variety of different surgical approaches, from traditional laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication and hiatal hernia repairs to innovative approaches such as the Linx reflux device and incisionless TIF procedure, patients no longer have to take medications or worry about their ongoing reflux symptoms.
