About Dr. Diana Herrera
Dr. Diana Herrera is a native Houstonian. She graduated from the University of Houston where she received a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology. She then graduated from Baylor College of Medicine and during her studies there, she found her passion in women’s healthcare needs. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Houston Methodist Hospital where she earned recognition for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and obtained certification in da Vinci® robotic surgery. Dr. Herrera joined Women’s Healthcare Associates in 2020 and is looking forward to caring for her patients at both Houston locations.
Dr. Herrera is fluent in English and Native Spanish. Her clinical interest include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, da Vinci robotic surgery, routine gynecologic care, preconception counseling, contraception, adolescent gynecology, infertility, general and high-risk obstetrics, menopause, and office procedures.
During her time off, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and three dogs. She enjoys running, cycling and reading mystery novels. She also played the violin in a mariachi band for many years!
