Dr. Deepika Satish was raised in Houston, Texas. She attended Rice University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern and continued there for her Internal Medicine Residency training.
After Residency, she moved to New York City to pursue a Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she trained with and worked alongside leading interventional gastroenterologists to provide state-of-the-art cancer-directed care using minimally invasive endoscopic approaches. She subsequently completed an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital/Icahn School of Medicine in New York City.
Dr. Satish specializes in pancreatic disease, biliary tract disease, and pre-cancerous and cancerous conditions of the gastrointestinal tract.
