Dr. Deepak Malhotra is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with expertise in surgical care of the heart, lungs, and vascular system, particularly complex aortic disease. Born in Texas and raised internationally, he earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Maryland before completing his M.D. at George Washington University. He trained in general surgery at Rutgers and pursued a cardiac surgery research fellowship at UCSF/VAMC, followed by a cardiothoracic fellowship at USC under renowned surgeon Dr. Vaughn Starnes. Known for his dedication to patient care and innovative surgical techniques, Dr. Malhotra also enjoys family time and has a strong passion for sports.
