About Dr. Daniel Strigenz
"The functions of the head and neck are integral to our enjoyment of life. Without clear nasal passageways, a patient may not get a good night’s sleep or be able to smell the enticing aroma of a freshly baked pie. Without healthy ears a patient may miss out on conversation with loved ones. My goal is to work with patients to provide comprehensive, personalized care that maximizes the health of these critical organs. I strive to make my patients partners in their care, aligning a treatment plan with their goals and interests leading to a positive medical outcome."
Dr. Daniel Strigenz is a comprehensive otolaryngologist in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital. He grew up in Wisconsin and went on to complete his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from New York University in 2012 and completed a five-year residency in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, one of the highest volume surgical programs. During his residency, he participated in surgical service missions to the Dominican Republic and served in leadership positions as Chief Resident, Education Chief for the Otolaryngology Department and on the Housestaff Quality Forum. He also received the medical-center-wide Housestaff Collegiality Award and Award for Most Outstanding Temporal Bone Dissection within the department.
After completion of his residency in 2017, Dr. Strigenz entered practice in Wisconsin before relocating to Houston to join the esteemed faculty at Houston Methodist.
