Dr. Ataallah is a member of The Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the American Diabetes Association, and the Texas Endocrinology Association.
She published multiple case reports and presented numerous abstracts at national endocrine conferences. Additionally, Dr. Ataallah also collaborated on research and quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patients' care.

Effective April 7, 2025, Dr. Basma Ataallah will no longer see patients at the Houston Methodist Willowbrook location.
A medical records release is not required for patients who choose to continue receiving care from another Houston Methodist Specialty Physcian Group Endocrinology provider. Patients should contact 281.737.1171 option 1 to schedule an appointment with another member of the Willowbrook Endocrinology team.
Patients who would like to continue care with Dr. Ataallah can do so by scheduling an appointment with her new Houston Methodist Department of Medicine Endocrinolgy group located in the Texas Medical Center by contacting 713.441.0006. Her new address is 6550 Fannin Street, suite 1101, Houston, TX 77030.
Patients who prefer to obtain a copy of their medical records or transition their care outside of Houston Methodist can contact the medical reocrds department at 713.394.6428. Please keep in mind it may take up to 15 business days for records to be processed.
