Dr. Nayar is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  Dr. Nayar joined Columbus Eye Associates in 1996.  Dr. Nayar received a B.A./M.D. Degree from the six year program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.  He served his internship at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur, Missouri, and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.  He completed a fellowship in Glaucoma & Anterior Segment Surgery at the Conner Glaucoma Institute in Houston, Texas.  From 1997 to 2002, he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.  He has performed Laser Vision Correction/LASIK since 1999.
