About Dr. Ali Hashmi
Dr. Hashmi completed his medical school in Karachi and moved to Houston to complete residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine. During his training, he had the opportunity to work at Ben Taub, Micheal E. Debakey VA, Baylor St Luke`s and Houston Methodist Hospital. After completing his training he worked as an Assistant Professor at University of Texas - Medical Branch in Galveston. He moved to Boston briefly and worked as a gastroenterologist at Mass General Brigham for 4 years, before returning back to Houston and joining Gastroenterology Diagnostic Center. Currently Dr. Hashmi is an active Gastroenterology staff at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital where he sees gastroenterology patients and perform endoscopies.
