Dr. Ahmad Al-Awwad is board certified neurologist who completed his medical school at Damascus University, Syria and his neurology residency at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, OK. He also finished an additional year of research fellowship in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy in Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
Dr. Al-Awwad's practice is focused on neurological disorder seen in hospitalized patients, paroxysmal non-epileptic spells and stroke mimics along with encephalopathy and consciousness disorders. In addition, Dr. Al-Awwad is heavily involved in the education and supervision of medical students and neurology residents during their in-patient neurology training.
