About Dr. Ahmad Abbad Isbitan
Dr. Isbitan earned his Medical Degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in Jordan. In order to advance his medical career, Dr. Isbitan relocated to the United States to complete his three-year Internal Medicine Residency at Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. Upon completion of his Internal Medicine Residency, Dr. Isbitan proceeded to complete fellowships in both Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology with St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center affiliated with New York Medical College in New Jersey.
Dr. Isbitan began his career as an Interventional Cardiologist at Saint Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. In addition to his clinical work Dr. Isbitan served as a Member at Large with Medical Staff Office at Saint Claire Regional Medical Center. As an interventionalist, Dr. Isbitan has acquired extensive knowledge in the latest technology involving peripheral arterial and percutaneous coronary interventions as well as deep and superficial venous treatment. Dr. Isbitan is a highly skilled physician in limb salvage intervention for peripheral arterial disease patients, along with a strong focus on the early identification of heart and blood vessel disorders to significantly increase patient survival rates.
Dr. Isbitan has participated in 7 published research projects in well-known medical journals such as American Heart Association Circulation Journal, National Library of Medicine, and The Journal of Valvular Heart Disease. Projects focusing on evaluation and treatment of patients with peripheral vascular disease and structural heart conditions.
In August of 2022, Dr. Isbitan joined Sam Houston Heart and Vascular Center located in Houston, Texas. Sam Houston Heart and Vascular Center offers a wide array of diagnostic tests and treatments for heart and blood vessel disorders in people of all ages. Dr. Isbitan takes pride in offering courteous, compassionate, respectful care to all patients and their families. He is determined to find the root cause of each patient’s symptoms and offers minimally invasive procedures whenever possible, while maintaining the highest standards in heart and vascular care available.
Dr. Isbitan enjoys spending his leisure time with his wife and three daughters by traveling and creating family memories. He enjoys relaxing by painting portraits of loved ones and inspirational landscapes. Dr. Isbitan keeps his heart healthy by playing soccer and golf.
Dr. Isbitan is excited to have joined the Houston and Cypress, Tx area and looks forward to providing excellent service in healthcare for all heart and vascular patients of the community.
