Kenneth R. Peak Brain & Pituitary Tumor Center
As a symbol of generosity and tenacity in a fight, Kenneth and Donna Peak made a philanthropic gift to establish the Kenneth R. Peak Center for Brain and Pituitary Tumor Treatment and Research. The generous support followed the couples’ experience with the extensive treatment and compassionate care that Houston Methodist provided to Kenneth, who battled brain cancer and ultimately succumbed to the disease in April 2013.
Thanks to the Peak’s largesse, the Center provides world-class personalized neurosurgical and oncological treatments for patients with brain, spine and pituitary tumors in a caring environment geared toward scientific advances, education and research. It offers leading-edge scientific analyses of each patient’s tumor, allowing physicians to design personalized treatment plans based on genetic information, detailed screening of the tumor and other advanced scientific techniques. The Center provides highly personalized care to patients with tumors in ways not previously available anywhere in the world.
Kenneth and Donna Peak’s giving spirit and generous support have opened new possibilities for brain and pituitary tumor treatment. As a result of their philanthropic support, the Kenneth R. Peak Center for Brain and Pituitary Tumor Treatment and Research stands and an enduring legacy for medical and research excellence.
