At AANS 2023, Houston Methodist Faculty Receive Accolades, Lead Sessions

Neurosurgeons from across the globe will have the opportunity to hear from multiple Houston Methodist Neurological Institute experts on a variety of cutting-edge research topics at the upcoming American Association of Neurological Surgeons Annual Scientific Meeting (AANS 2023).

Additionally, AANS will present Dr. David Baskin, vice chair of the Department of Neurosurgery and director of the Kenneth R. Peak Brain and Pituitary Tumor Treatment Center at Houston Methodist, with one of the highest honors awarded by the society for successful treatment of a DIPG brain tumor using oscillating magnetic fields.

The AANS Annual Scientific Meeting is the United States' largest conference focused exclusively on neurosurgery. The 2023 event will be held April 21–24 in Los Angeles.
