Administrative Internships and Video Production Internship

Our highly competitive internship program is an exciting opportunity for outstanding college and graduate students to hone their skills in program development and administration, videography and photography, and more, at Texas’s top hospital (according to U.S. News & World Reports). DeBakey CV Education is a one-of-a-kind, globally accessible, comprehensive cardiovascular education and training program with hands-on and digital events produced daily. Interns play a key role in driving innovation and day-to-day logistics, working hand-in-hand with industry leaders to make our programs a success.

Internships are available for the spring, summer, and fall semesters, lasting 16 weeks with a time commitment of 20 hours per week. Internships are unpaid but can be used for academic credit. DeBakey CV Education currently offers five internship tracks: project specialist interns, marketing interns, digital education interns, curriculum development interns and video production interns.

ADMINISTRATIVE INTERNSHIP TRACKS


Get hands-on administrative experience in planning, marketing, and executing virtual and in-person educational events ranging from 10 to 200 learners. 

PROJECT SPECIALIST INTERN

  • Responsibilities: Event logistics, finance, business development, recruitment, fundraising, research projects and process improvement
  • Preferred experience: 1-2 years of healthcare experience


MARKETING INTERN

  • Responsibilities: Social media, marketing, communication and promotional design for educational events
  • Required experience: Strong social media and marketing skills
  • Preferred experience: Marketing or communications degree, graphic design experience and 1-2 years of healthcare experience


DIGITAL EDUCATION INTERN

  • Responsibilities: Video production studio logistics for weekly and annual education events, data collection and viewership analysis
  • Preferred experience: 1-2 years of healthcare experience


CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT INTERN

  • Responsibilities: Curriculum design, program evaluation, data collection and analysis, and manuscript development
  • Preferred experience: PhD candidate

Qualified applicants will be graduate students in a business or healthcare-related field and interested in a career in business, finance, healthcare administration, logistics, education, or event planning.

Video Production Internship


Build key skills in live and pre-recorded video production, photography, and more, working with DeBakey CV Education's world-class video production team in our in-house studios. Opportunities may include:

  • Video production
