Digestive Disease Week Showcases Talent of Houston Methodist Researchers

April 11, 2024 - Eden McCleskey

Houston Methodist will celebrate its largest ever footprint at next month's Digestive Disease Week (DDW), the world's largest gathering of physicians, researchers and academics in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy and gastrointestinal surgery.

DDW 2024, to be held May 18-21 in Washington D.C., will feature over 3,000 topics and more than 13,000 attendees.

The Houston Methodist footprint includes the acceptance of more than a dozen manuscripts, presentations by seven faculty members and one physician receiving a Women in Endoscopy award. Methodist physicians and scientists will be on hand to share their latest research and discuss recent clinical and scientific developments in the field of digestive diseases.
