Houston Methodist Ophthalmology Experts Share Latest Advances at AAO 2025
Sep. 2, 2025 - Eden McCleskeyHouston Methodist Blanton Eye Institute physicians will join experts from around the globe presenting the latest ophthalmology research at the upcoming American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) annual meeting.
More than 13,000 ophthalmology clinicians and researchers will gather in Orlando Oct. 17-20 for AAO 2025, the largest conference in the world dedicated to ophthalmic health.
Participants can select specialized tracks focused on retinal diseases, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology and more.
Houston Methodist faculty members invited to deliver talks include Chair of Ophthalmology Dr. Andrew Lee as well as Drs. Amy Coburn, Rahul Pandit, Kenneth Fan, Amina Malik, Prethy Rao, Amy Schefler and Ankoor Shah.
