About Our Fellowship
ACGME & UCNS Accredited Neurocritical Care Fellowship
The Department of Neurosurgery at Houston Methodist Hospital offers a Neurocritical Care Fellowship Program accredited by that is dual accredited by the Accredited Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the UCNS (United Council on Neurological Subspecialties). Applicants must have completed residency training in neurology, neurosurgery, internal medicine, emergency medicine, anesthesiology or surgery accredited by the ACGME or the RCPSC prior to the start date of the fellowship.
The UCNS NCC fellowship program consists of two tracks: Track 1 is for fellows with prior training in Neurosurgery and is 12 months in duration, and Track 2 is for fellows with prior training in neurology, internal medicine, emergency medicine or anesthesia and is 24 months in duration.
Prospective applicants should apply through the San Francisco Match.
