Houston Methodist is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.


Houston Methodist is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.   

Other Healthcare Professional

Other Healthcare Professionals who participate in this CME activity may submit their Statements of Attendance to their appropriate accrediting organizations or state boards for consideration of credit.  The participant is responsible for determining whether this activity meets the requirements for acceptable continuing education.


In order to meet the requirements of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, it is the policy of Houston Methodist that all individuals who are in a position to control the content of a CME course (course director, planning committee members, and faculty) disclose relevant financial relationships with commercial interests.
