The Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF®) recognized the DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center as part of the 2024 CRF® Scientific Excellence Top 10 (SET-10) at the 2024 Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics® (TCT®) Conference.

These prestigious rankings honored academic and medical institutions worldwide that are leaders in Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine, based on academic contributions at the TCT® 2024.

The CRF® SET-10 rankings include six categories:

• CRF® SET-10: Global
• CRF® SET-10: United States
• CRF® SET-10: Non-U.S.
• CRF® SET-10: Coronary
• CRF® SET-10: Structural
• CRF® SET-10: Late-Breaking Clinical Research

The DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center was ranked No. 2 in the CRF® SET-10: Structural and No. 10 in the CRF® SET-10: United States categories, highlighting Houston Methodist’s outstanding research contributions to interventional cardiovascular medicine. 

The rankings were based on the cumulative scores of submissions and a set benchmark for academic and medical institutions focused on cardiovascular care and excellence in advancing interventional cardiovascular research.
