Description
This study is a prospective, observational case control study that will generate preliminary data from 50 cases (South Asian) and 100 controls (50 South Asian and 50 non-South Asian) who have undergone clinically indicated CTAs. Participants will be recruited to examine the association of plaque burden and morphology (by coronary CTA) with proteomic profiling and genome-wide genotyping in South Asians living in the US and Investigate if CAD associated proteomic markers and circulating protein concentrations (pQTL) loci correlate with lower cholesterol efflux capacity (CEC) in a South Asian population.
