The Clinical Observership allows international physicians, residents and medical students to observe clinical practice. Programs are typically two to four weeks in length, and offer direct interaction with experienced Houston Methodist physicians for application at home. An observership is a shadowing experience and does not include direct patient care. Specialties include but are not limited to the following:

Houston Methodist is an educational destination for international physicians seeking interdisciplinary, team-based and patient-focused approaches to medical care. A clinical fellowship is a 12 to 24 month program and is a pathway for physicians to immerse themselves in aligned specialties.
