Physician and Provider Engagement and Resiliency Task Force
The Houston Methodist Physician and Provider Engagement and Resiliency Task Force is a collaborative and steering body that coordinates system efforts to address clinician burnout and resiliency, by:
- assuring utilization of a comprehensive and multifaceted approach,
- identifying institutional gaps in knowledge, and
- evaluating and prioritizing strategic initiatives
The Task Force is guided by Houston Methodist’s I CARE values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence. These values provide the foundation for a dual approach to intervention. That dual approach seeks to mitigate factors inherent in the healthcare system which make it complex and inefficient at times and assist the clinician on an individual level.
