Pharmacy Administration Residency

The purpose of the PGY1/PGY2 Residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration combined program with a MS in Pharmacy Leadership and Administration is to develop pharmacy leaders by providing the administrative and clinical skills necessary to lead a large health-system pharmacy or other healthcare organization in advancing patient care. We combine both a didactic and practical learning environment to train the pharmacy profession's future leaders.

Candidates must complete PhORCAS application for the residency program by December 31. In addition, candidates must apply to the University of Houston (UH) Masters program.  UH application requirements are online at University of Houston College of Pharmacy MS Residency Homepage and should be completed by January 4, 2017.

An on-site interview required.

Licensure Requirements:
Residents must possess at valid Texas pharmacy license within 90 days of their start date.  This process should be started immediately after matching with Houston Methodist Hospital to ensure timely licensing.
