Javier Rios, M.D., a fellowship-trained physician specializing in nonsurgical orthopedics and sports medicine, is joining the Orthopedics & Sports Medicine team at Houston Methodist St. John Hospital. 

Rios has cared for athletes and others with acute and chronic conditions and injuries in the Greater Bay Area for more than six years. His clinical expertise includes diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound-guided injections for joint disorders as well as casting and splinting non-surgical fractures.

Rios is board certified in family medicine and fellowship trained in primary care sports medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He will join Drs. Edward Lee, Jason Leaseburg and Kenneth First and see patients at 2020 NASA Parkway, Suite 230 in Nassau Bay.
