Houston Methodist Wellness Services can help you learn to maintain a healthy weight, eat a nutritious diet and improve function. Our services and programs include:

For Employers

  • Houston Methodist Wellness@Work© – a 12-week series of classes focusing on nutrition and weight management. Participants learn about portion sizes, meal planning and label reading
  • Hands-On, Healthy Cooking – a six-week series of hands-on cooking classes with a registered dietitian to help you learn to make nutritious meals
  • Metabolic assessment – a detailed report of your body fat, muscle mass and water retention, along with a daily calorie recommendation to help guide you in losing, maintaining or gaining weight
  • Fun with Food workshops – entertaining and interactive sessions combine the latest nutrition information with practical strategies to help you improve your eating habits
  • Nutrition boot camp – a nutrition-intensive program will provide you with a prescriptive eating plan to help you make the right choices and accomplish your goals

For Employers and Individuals 

Nutrition consultations – you meet with a registered dietitian to discuss nutrition-related health concerns and how to improve wellness. Your nutrition consultant will help you develop a plan based on your medical history, weight trends, food choices and goals
