Biography

Dr. Cinzia Stigliano received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Bari, Italy in 26th April 2012. Dr. Stigliano joined The Methodist Hospital Research Institute as a Research Fellow in July, 2011. For her graduate thesis, she worked on the AQPs protein inhibitors as aptamers and siRNA. Her research experience include gene and proteomic analysis. In TMHRI, Dr. Stigliano is working on developing multifunctional “Theragnostic agents” using nanomaterials.
