Thank you for considering giving a gift to The Tsing Tsung and Wei Fong Chao Center for BRAIN at The Methodist Hospital Research Institute. Over the years, philanthropy and volunteerism have been instrumental in shaping Methodist into the outstanding institution it is today, and they will continue to drive its future growth and development.
In 2003, The Methodist Hospital Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established to help accomplish the priorities of the hospital through fundraising, volunteerism, gift management, and stewardship. Led by a Board of Directors, the Foundation accepts all gifts on behalf of Methodist for the benefit of research, education, patient care, and community outreach.
TMHRI is among the organization´s highest funding priorities, and substantial resources are needed to facilitate its success. Methodist continually seeks new philanthropic support to attract and retain outstanding physicians and researchers, foster scientific breakthroughs and biomedical innovation, and respond to emerging needs as they arise in the fast-paced arena of medical discovery. The Tsing Tsung and Wei Fong Chao Center for BRAIN is dedicated to the development of diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for progressive neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
As with any complex and ambitious enterprise, we cannot undertake such initiatives alone and ask for the community´s generous support of TMHRI and The Chao Center for BRAIN. Giving opportunities are available at all levels — opportunities that allow donors to invest in the staff, tools, technologies, facilities, research, and education infrastructure that will lead to cures and improved treatments for today´s most urgent health concerns. Such investments have far-reaching and immeasurable returns, as no one can put a price on medical breakthroughs that heal people and save lives.
