Houston Methodist San Jacinto Provides Free Mammograms

Through grants from the Susan G. Komen Foundation and America Cancer Society, San Jacinto Methodist Hospital will provide free breast health services to a limited number of qualifying women.

To qualify for the free breast health services the patient must be:

  • Between 40 and 65 years old (or 65+ without Medicare coverage)
  • Uninsured, or have insurance that does NOT cover preventative screenings
  • A resident in the local service area

To schedule a free service, call 832-556-6300 and be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Patient name and contact information (address, telephone number)
  • Race of patient
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security number
  • Next of kin with emergency contact information

    The Breast Health Initiative includes the following services for free on a first come, first served basis:

  • Breast Self-Awareness education
  • Clinical Breast Examination
  • Screening Mammogram
  • Limited follow up imaging if indicated
  • Referral to The Rose for continued care if necessary
  • Patient Navigator to assist in coordination of care
