Houston Methodist Research Institute Research Technology department is dedicated to supporting its researchers through innovative solutions that automate administrative processes. There are two components of the team – Administrative Application Development and Lab Technology Operations.
Methodist Online Research Technology Initiative (MORTI)
Houston Methodist Research Institute Faculty and Staff use this electronic portal to facilitate the online submission, review, approval and management of research studies. The Administrative Application Development team builds custom modules, trains users and builds reports for the MORTI system as well as Post-Award reports from the MARS system.
The Research Technology Operations team provides application support for Research specific applications and facilitates laboratory technology operations. The purchasing of all software and computer related items is coordinated through our office, as well as consultations on providing data storage and server solutions for large-scale projects.
