Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy focuses on returning the person to their daily activities with maximum independence by improving strength, endurance, motor skills, activity retraining and activity adaptation. Programs include education about activity limitations and adaptations for use in hospital or at home.

OT services include, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluation
  • Retraining on Activities of Daily Living
  • Therapeutic exercise
  • Wheelchair modification & mobility
  • Splint fabrication and training
  • Energy conservation strategies
  • Muscle retraining
  • Cognitive retraining
