Our nationally and world-renowned radiation oncologists will act as consultants, and lead the medical team in planning and implementing radiation treatment. The radiation oncologists have an extensive knowledge of the entire process of radiation therapy, from the diagnosis and biology of the cancer to the technological aspects of treatment implementation. While our radiation oncologists each have their own specialties within radiation therapy, they are each qualified to treat many different tumor specific sites. Additionally, they are involved in research with a goal of constantly improving cancer treatment modalities.

Dr E. Brian Butler

Dr. Butler is Medical Director for Radiation Oncology services within the Houston Methodist. Additionally he serves as clinical professor for Weill Medical School of Cornell University. Dr. Butler specializes in the treatment of malignancies associated with the head/neck and prostate. Furthermore, he is an active investigator in research protocols that combine gene therapy in conjunction with radiation therapy.
