Dr. Estep's Biography

Dr. Jerry Estep is a cardiologist in the Critical Care Unit at the Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston.

Dr. Estep is board certified in internal medicine and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation.

Dr. Estep has contributed to several published articles on heart failure and is involved in research on heart failure and transplantation. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, completed his residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed a fellowship in cardiology at Baylor. He has received numerous awards, including “Most Outstanding Clinical Cardiology Fellow” from Baylor and “Most Outstanding Resident Instructor” from UT Southwestern.
