Dr. Brian Bruckner's Biography

Dr. Brian Bruckner is a heart and lung transplant surgeon at the Methodist Transplant Center, with additional clinical expertise in cardiothoracic, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. As a graduate of University of Florida College of Medicine, Bruckner completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center and the Texas Heart Institute. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society, Society of Artificial Organs and International Society of Heart & Lung Transplantation. Bruckner's research interests include heart and lung transplantation, ventricular assist devices, stem cells and cardiac tumors.
