Patients rely on our exemplary standard of coordinated care, as experts from multiple disciplines work together for diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning. This dynamic team of experts evaluates individual cancer cases on a regular basis to provide the most advanced care.
Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital hosts cancer conferences regularly for physicians and staff to share knowledge and ideas, determine treatment plans and improve patient outcomes. Physicians from various disciplines present recent clinical cases and discuss options for radiation therapy, chemotherapy and surgery. In addition, radiation oncology patients are discussed with medical staff of all radiation therapy departments across Houston Methodist to provide opportunity for peer review.
