This short video from the American Heart Association gives specific instructions on how to perform Hands-Only CPR
Hands-Only CPR is a method of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) that does not involve mouth-to-mouth breaths. This technique is recommended by the American Heart Association if you ever see a teen or adult collapse in an out-of-hospital setting (such as at home or at work).
Hands-Only CPR involves two simple steps:
- Call 9-1-1, or send someone else to call.
- Push hard and fast in the center of the chest.
