Hope Endowment is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which fundraises for three specific orphanages or group homes for impoverished children in India. Our Mission: To empower children in India to transcend poverty by providing a safe, caring, compassionate home and prepare these children with education and social development. By blending these services we hope to provide a lifetime commitment to their growth in the world we live in today.

The children we serve are between the ages of 3 to 18 years. All of the children are provided with housing, food, clothing, health care, educational opportunities, and social services. Hope Endowment provides financial assistance to over 180 children across three homes in India that span from north to south located in Gujarat (Rajkot and Dumda) and in Kerala (Puthuvely).
Over the past three years, we have raised over $100,000 annually to meet the daily needs of the children; increase awareness in society; create educational opportunities for growth; establish permanent dwellings in these locales; and, most importantly, grow the endowment to allow us to help the children for years to come. In recent years, one of our focused areas has been the Dumda location. Many of these children were under the age of 10 and living in a home that was at risk of being taken away. Through the kindness and generosity of individual donors, we were able to purchase the property with the goal of building a permanent dormitory complex adjacent to the school. The current home houses only 60 children; however, if funding were available, we could help many more children. Due to governmental restrictions, children in these orphanages are not afforded the opportunity to be adopted and taken into a loving home.
This year our goal is to increase our previous years’ donations. Our ultimate goal is it to raise $200,000 and we need your support. All fundraising dollars collected at the events from individual donors go directly to our children; corporate donors have the option of choosing whether their donations go to the administrative fund or the endowment account. Our Board of Directors supports the majority of administrative costs.
“We are honored to once again join Hope Endowment in their mission to empower children in India to transcend poverty by providing a safe, caring, compassionate home and prepare these children with education and social development,” said Chris Siebenaler, CEO at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital.
