The Midas+ Platinum Quality Award recognizes hospitals that score in the top 5 percent among their eligible peers in areas including acute care readmission rates and length of stay and mortality rates for a number of different illnesses and procedures, including heart care, stroke care, pneumonia care, major small and large bowel procedures, septicemia and infections.
“Our staff continues to do an outstanding job of ensuring quality outcomes by consistently following evidence-based practice,” says Chris Siebenaler, Methodist Sugar Land Hospital CEO. “This award is a testament to the daily efforts of our physicians, nurses and other medical personnel and their continued focus on providing the best possible care for our patients.”
The Platinum Quality Award is presented by Midas+ Solutions that provides a suite of clinical and operational care management software and data analytic tools for 1,500 hospitals across the U.S.
