With seven MRI scanners, including the latest 3T clinical systems, Houston Methodist Hospital provides a full range of applications and services to their patients. Houston Methodist’s MRI scanners provide state-of-the-art diagnosis of stroke, breast disease, cardiac and vascular imaging and functional imaging of the brain and spinal cord.
All MRI units are accredited by the American College of Radiology. Patients undergoing an MRI at Houston Methodist Hospital enjoy the benefits of sub-specialized readings by fellowship-trained radiologists, along with experienced and dedicated technical and support staff. Services are separately provided for both inpatient and outpatient visitors.
All three of Houston Methodist’s MRI imaging suites are designed with pleasant, modern surroundings. Inpatient imaging is accomplished in Endovascular MRI (M251) with most outpatient imaging occurs in either the Scurlock Tower location (ST 225) or in the 3T location in the Main Building (MB1-007).
